3 Kasım 1989’da sabaha karşı dünyaya ayak basmıştır. İlkokul ve lise dönemlerinde çok aydınlık olmayan Cem Karabulut, çareyi photoshop’ta bulmuştur. 2 yıl acemilik dönemleri olup tamamen hobi olarak benimsemiştir. Daha sonralarda maddi sıkıntılar çekip bir matbaa’da Reprodüksiyon ( Renk Ayrımı ) Bölümünde çalışmaya başlamıştır. Asıl hayali grafiker olması nedeniyle ilgili bir kurs’a yazılmış ve geçerli bir sertfikaya sahip olmuştur. Matbaa’da işlerin pek iyi gitmemesi nedeniyle işten ayrılmış ve iş aramaya koyulmuştur. Eline aldığı gazete ilanıyla bir reklam şirketine başvurmasıyla işe alınmış ve profesyonelliği tadmıştır. Reklam şirketinden ayrıldıktan sonra askerliğe kadar freelance (serbest) olarak piyasaya saldırmış, güzel çalışmalara imza atmıştır. Çok büyük ideallere sahip olan Cem Karabulut askerlikten sonra İstanbul’da Grafik Tasarım adına Home Studio kurmayı planlıyor ve piyasayı alt,üst etmeyi düşünüyor.
